Waggy Tails is run by Alison Garforth & Sarah Cooke. It has listed status to run The Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme, including levels Puppy Foundation, Bronze, Silver & Gold Awards. We also offer our own Waggy Tails Interactive Skills for Life Scheme, Bronze, Silver & Gold levels. Using a modern approach to dog training & behaviour, we promote up to date, kind, fair & positive methods, as well as encouraging clicker training. We do not allow the use of choke chains or half-check collars.

The Institute for Animal Care Education
The Institute for Animal Care Education aims to promote the quality of education within the animal care industry. Founded in 1996 it fulfils the requirement for a governing body within the animal care sector focussed purely on high standards of education and the needs of the animal welfare industry. Alison & Sarah are full members of the Institute having completed recognised courses and demonstrate educational achievement in the relevant field of canine behaviour as well as a wealth of experience and practical skills working with both dogs and people.
Having studied with Compass Education and Training, a non profit making college dedicated to educating those working in the field of animal behaviour, Alison & Sarah each hold an Advanced Diploma in Canine Behaviour Management. They are responsible, qualified Canine Behaviour Specialists promoting a modern approach to canine behaviour and dog training using humane methods, whilst adopting a flexible approach with dogs and an empathetic approach with owners.
